Jaana Salonsaari Nurse Practitioner

Jaana is a board certified, Adult Geriatric, Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She studied at CSULA. Her clinical experience as a nurse practitioner includes primary care, acute care, subacute care, nephrology, palliative care, and hospice with a strong focus on Geriatric populations and minority health. She worked as an RN in telemetry, medical surgical floor, hospice, and home health. Jaana, native of Finland, is also fluent in Spanish.

Manuel graduated at the top of his class from Kaplan College North Hollywood. As a Certified Medical Assistant his responsibilities at AHA include: medication refills, chronic care management, order and assist with lab testing, coordinate referrals, and outpatient services---home health, psychical therapy, skilled nursing, wound care management and more. He was born in Mexico but raised in the Greater Los Angeles area since the age of five. In his spare time he enjoys listening to music, updating his medical knowledge and enjoys spending time with his family.

Milo graduated at the top of his class with perfect attendance from Kaplan College North Hollywood. Milo is a motivated Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist with a highly effective communication style. His job duties include venipunctures, injections, ear cleaning and electrocardiograms (EKG).

During his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, snowboarding and long walks with his dogs.

When she's not working or baking, she is playing soccer on one of the four women's leagues of which she's a member!

I provide assistance in our Billing Department and the Medical Records Department. During my spare time, I read or watch the news, or binge on international tv shows.

Jeanette Newman Medical Records Coordinator

Jeanette retrieves patient medical records for physicians, technicians, or other medical personnel. She reviews records for completeness and accuracy. Other duties include: planning, developing, maintaining, or operating a variety of health record indexes for storage and retrieval. She manages the department and supervises personnel in the medical records department. Jeanette enjoys working in the office and helping to provide a high level of service to both our patients and their families.

Sam is our Medical Billing Coordinator. He studied Film with a screenwriting concentration at Temple University. He is originally from Richmond, Virginia and is passionate about film, television, Philadelphia sports, and helping patients.

Trisha Sappa Provider Support

I've been a nurse in practice for 10 years, mostly assisting in an outpatient clinical set up.  As a Provider Support, I personally assist and carry out orders for our Nurse Practitioners and Physicians. A fun fact about me is that  enjoy learning  Muay Thai and Boxing. I like staying active, but also enjoy my quiet time and relaxing. I love running, it's my happy pill- my goal is to beat my own personal record at every run.

After my volunteer days at a tertiary hospital, I worked as a Board Exam Review Staff for BS Nursing Batch 2019's preparation in their Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam. I work in the Admission Department as Admissions Support and love what I do. I also order and follow up on and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and hospital admission as needed for our dear patients Fun fact about me is that I am also a mental health advocate. On my leisure time, I love watching horror and thriller movies.

I work as a Provider Support here at AHA specifically assisting our Nurse Practitioners in the East San Fernando Valley, West San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita, Conejo Valley and Camarillo surrounding areas.  Fun fact about me is I love to go running, reading books and wall climbing. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and I'm licensed nurse.
